Team research topics:
Our team studies value-based learning and decision-making in humans. In other words, we study reward-maximizing and punishment-minimizing behaviors. We aim to understand the computational and neural basis of these behaviors, and how deficiencies in these processes might contribute to the emergence of psychiatric symptoms. Broadly speaking, our research can be attributed to the fields of neuroeconomics and computational psychiatry.
Main techniques used:
Behavioral experiments, cognitive modeling, cross-cultural studies, artificial intelligence.
