[Update] Foundations, initially eligible as partners, can now be project leaders under this call for projects. This change means that the closing date for the call for projects has been extended to September 30, 2024.

The Île-de-France Region, management authority for European funds, is organising a call for "Research Platforms - SESAME" projects. This call for projects will mobilise an FEDER allocation of between €14 and €16 million.

The aim of this call for projects is to support, develop and create structuring facilities, such as research platforms open to SMEs, by providing financial support for shared platforms and facilities enabling collaboration in research and development.

The actions that may be co-financed by the FEDER must make it possible to :

• develop research programmes at the highest level of the scientific disciplines involved ;
• strengthen cooperation between research players and the socio-economic world, in particular by opening up to SMEs;
• encourage technology transfer.

Research platform projects co-financed by the FEDER must fall within one or more Strategic Innovation Areas of the Intelligent Specialisation Strategy, which they will help to strengthen.
