Call for applications 2023: Irène Joliot Curie Prize

The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation Research and Innovation, with the support of the Académie des Sciences and the Académie des technologies will be awarding the Irène Joliot Curie prizes, worth a total of €120,000.
The Irène Joliot-Curie 2023 prize comprises three categories:
- the Woman Scientist of the Year category (€40,000) rewards a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to public or private research, through the openness of her subject, the importance of her work and recognition in her scientific field, both nationally and internationally;
- the Young Woman Scientist category (€20,000) is changing this year, rewarding three young women, instead of one in previous editions. It highlights and encourages scientists who have distinguished themselves through their career and work, making them talented specialists in their field;
- the Woman, Research and Enterprise category (20,000 euros) rewards a woman who has developed scientific and/or technical innovations in a research and development function, working within a company or contributing to the creation of a company.
