Team research topics:

Our team studies the role and function of vesicular glutamate transporters (VGLUTs) in normal and pathological conditions. Our project aims to decipher how cholinergic and glutamatergic co-transmission modulates brain activity, particularly in the context of psychiatric pathologies studied in pre-clinical models. Our team is also developing pharmacological tools to target VGLUTs and control this co-transmission.

 

Main techniques used:

Our team uses a range of experimental approaches from molecular modeling to animal behavior to address our research themes. We develop new ligands and study their pharmacochemistry in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo.
