Presentation OF the team
The InDEV Neuropediatrics team was created on January 1, 2019 at NeuroSpin, as a team of UNIACT (Unité de Recherche en Neuroimagerie Applicative Clinique et Translationnelle). The InDEV team is co-supervised by the CEA and the UMR1141 "NeuroDiderot" unit, directed by Professor Pierre Gressens (Inserm, Université Paris Cité).
InDEV topics concern the study of brain development in typical children or children with early brain pathologies (epilepsy, microencephaly, brain tumors, neonatal stroke...) using structural and functional MRI. In sick children, we are particularly interested in the cerebral plasticity of the immature brain, which allows learning and a surprising functional efficiency considering the cerebral lesions. Our multidisciplinary team (neuropediatricians, neuroscientists, neuropsychologists, engineers) shows the interest of an interface between basic and clinical research.
InDEV is a multidisciplinary team. It is composed of neuropediatricians, neuroscientists, neuropsychologists and engineers.
