MIND

INRIA - CEA - Université Paris Saclay

Axe 3 : Réseaux neuronaux, modélisation et intelligence artificielle

Team research topics:

MIND is an Inria team doing research at the intersection of statistics, machine learning and signal processing, with the ambition of having an impact on neuroscience and neuroimaging research. In addition, MIND is supported by the CEA and affiliated with NeuroSpin, the largest neuroimaging facility in France dedicated to ultra-high magnetic fields. ultra-high magnetic fields.

The MIND team is a spin-off from the Parietal team, based at Inria Saclay and CEA Saclay, and is regularly looking for interns, PhD students and post-docs!

The team focuses on fundamental methodological developments:

  • Machine learning for inverse problems
  • Heterogeneous databases and knowledge bases
  • Statistics and causal inference in high dimensions
  • Machine learning on spatio-temporal signals and application domains
  • Population modeling, large-scale predictive modeling
  • Mapping cognition and brain networks
  • Modeling clinical parameters using multimodal neuroimaging techniques
  • From brain images and biological signals to quantitative biology and physics

Main techniques used:

Learning, statistics, signal processing, software development, fMRI, EEG, diffusion MRI, compressive sampling, MRI reconstruction.
