Team research topics:

We study long-lasting effects of neurotransmitters and the underlying intracellular signaling mechanisms which mediate some aspects of learning. Our interest is mostly focused on striatal neurons which are implicated in the reward system and movement control.

 

Main techniques used:

Behavioral studies, biochemistry, immunohistochemistry, transcriptomics, cell cultures.
